jdata Class Reference

Detailed Description

Data class for Protocol++® (ProtocolPP®)

This class is the data object for Protocol++® (ProtocolPP®) when creating random packets or when reading in XML data. When calling protocolpp&tm or W.A.S.P if no output file is provided, all generated data is placed in the jdata object.

The jdata object contains two maps holding the stream objects and the associated packets

The standard constructor jdata() can be used to create an empty data object which contains no streams or packets. New flows and packets can be added using the accessor functions

void set_flow(std::shared_ptr<jstream>& newstream);
void set_packet(std::string& stream, std::shared_ptr<jpacket>& newpkt);

Individual packets and streams can be accessed with the "get" functions and are returned in the shared pointer

void get_flow(std::string& name, std::shared_ptr<jstream>& flow);
void get_packet(std::string& stream, std::shared_ptr<jpacket>& packet);

The two maps are organized with a string as the key representing the name of the jstream object. The packet map associates all packets with it's respective jstream object and security association while the stream map allows for easy look up of the jstream object using it's name

The total number of flows (jstream objects) can be obtained using the following function

uint32_t get_flowcnt();

The total number of the packets in all flows can be obtained using the following function

uint32_t get_pktcnt();
